The StudSensor™ HD70 OneStep™ stud finder features a bright, backlit LCD display and Target Spotlight that illuminates on-screen when you’ve found the centre of a stud. A low battery indicator also informs you when your battery should be replaced for optimum performance. Two stud scan modes find the centre, edges, and direction of wood and metal studs while also alerting you to the presence of live AC electrical wiring.
- StudScan mode locates the centre, edges, and direction of wood or metal studs up to 19 mm deep
- DeepScan® mode doubles the scanning depth to 38 mm
- WireWarning® detection indicates the presence of live, unshielded AC electrical wiring up to 51 mm deep
- ACT™ (Auto Correcting Technology) automatically corrects common errors, such as when scanning begins over a stud
